The files below are provided "as is". The Mac Themes Project, Allegro Themes Project, and any associates will not be responsible for any damage they may cause. All files require Mac OS 8.5 or newer (excluding OS X). They require minimal resources. These tools should only be used by an expert level user, or a developer. No support (other than documentation found on this site) is provided. Use at your own risk. You have been warned.

All file require Stuffit 5 or newer to decompress.


Theme Machine

ThemeMachine is our tool to help you create and edit themes. This program is incomplete and may crash.

Pixie

An earlier program, converts pict <-> pxm#.

Theme Guide

Theme guide written by Ben Mackin. Simply a different, possibly simpler version of the Developer Documents above. A nice view on creating themes. Available in PDF and HTML formats.

ThemeBench

Used as a way to benchmark theme performance. Created by Ben Mackin.

Resorcerer Templates

The theme templates can now be used on OS8/9 and OS X themes. Also in this version is a pxm# template, and a new LAYO coordinate type.
